La Spineta extra virgin olive oil is produced with Coratina variety olives only coming from the farm La Spineta, situated between the sea and the first layers of Murgia, north-west of Andria. Its organoleptic qualities and its nourishing and dietetic features make it suitable for raw use and for every kind of cooking. It is irreplaceable to prepare typical specialties of Mediterranean diet.
Smell: intense and fragrant, easily recognizable the just harvested olive. Flavour: fruity, intense and persistent, harmonic and pleasantly round taste. A sweet almond sensation is recognizable with oil ripening. Colour: golden yellow with vivid greenish hues. Aspect: clear. Extraction system: cold extraction by centrifugal system, granite pressing with traditional milling.
