This extra virgin oil is made exclusively from olives of the Aglandau variety. It is a strong, distinctively flavoured, rustic oil which is particularly recommended for salad dressings and vinaigrette sauces. It is also good paired with steamed fish where it adds a piquant, fruity flavour.
Our Aglandau extra virgin oil is a complex oil which, when tasted, firstly imparts foliage, fresh grass and artichoke flavours, then more rounded, fruity tastes before finishing with a distinctive peppery taste on the palate.
As with all our extra virgin oils, it can also be used in cooking as it remains stable at high temperatures (180°c).
